Reveller breaks man’s cheekbone after being ejected from Leeds nightclub

Police are trying to find a reveller who broke a man’s cheekbone in an unprovoked attack after being kicked out of a nightclub in Leeds.

The 24-year-old victim was walking along Crown Street in Leeds city centre when he saw a man being ejected from Chilli White by doorstaff.

The man then approached him and, without provocation, punched him in the face causing a broken cheekbone.

The victim fought back and the attacker ran off towards Kirkgate.

Detective Constable Alexa Worsnop, of Leeds District CID, said: “This was a completely unprovoked attack that left the victim with a serious injury. We would like to hear from anyone who recognises the man shown in the images or who witnessed the incident at the time.”

The incident happened at about 4am on Thursday, October 1.

Anyone with information should contact Det Con Worsnop or Det Con Craig Mason at Elland Road police station via 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
